EcoReps is a student organization under the Office of Sustainability. EcoRep members are motivated individuals that use the program as a platform to raise awareness, champion environmental advocacy, increase service, promote stewardship, and create leaders.  Through peer to peer interactions EcoReps serves to increase sustainability at UTSA and within our community. EcoReps consist of a student director and five EcoRep representatives. EcoRep positions are paid positions open to work study eligible students.  EcoReps are allowed to select their core project in sustainability. They are expected to dedicate 8-19 hours a week in the office, or at a project event, to EcoRep duties.  EcoReps are required to attend a bi-weekly meeting to discuss current project progress and future project ideas. EcoReps also provide 32 hours of service an academic year in addition to their work hours and maintain a 2.5 or higher grade point average.
